Tripping

I am in Vernonia right now, back from two days in Portland.. driving around in a too small truck. It's a beautiful city, roses everywhere and Lavender growing like weeds. The stores are cool and all the people seemed uncharacteristically nice... being northern, not southern. I saw Mt. St. Helens and got the shaft at Cape Disappointment (that's a real place, with real dark hovering clouds, with a real Pacific shore and winds/chill that force you out)and at some good food. A longer, illustrated entry will ensue when I get back and have time to post pictures. I miss my BR but definitely want to move up here after school. I mean, come on.. we got a half of the goods for $160!!!!

Thank you to everyone who is taking care of my life while I am away! I love you guys.

Momma P and James are in the living room after having made dinner for all of us from fresh vegetables James picked in their garden. Jamie, Jason, Phil and Tommy are down at the Pet Store setting up and maybe even practicing for their show there tomorrow night. That should be interesting. I'm so glad to be here but I do miss my faces.

Hope everyone is doing well and not missing me too much. I'll be home next Wednesday, gosh.
